This is another great dress. I am really impressed with their ability to put long sleeves and high necks on a dress and still deliver a completely flattering and sexy piece. This one can be worn a couple different ways, including backwards.

The front and back are cut the same so you can turn it around as needed. The fabric straps can be pulled to the front or back, depending on your mood that day.

These straps are so fun, and don’t get in the way like you might expect. ($104)

Another long sleeve dress, and this one even has a turtle neck! I know what you’re thinking, but this is really the least matronly dress ever when on. As soon as it is over a body form, this dress  becomes hot, sexy, and alluring.

As today’s weather is happy to remind you, fall is just around the corner, and it’s time to start finding your new wardrobe pieces! I can’t express how pleased I am with the few pieces we’ve gotten so far! In today’s ladies-only post, I have some new RVCA and Prairie Underground to share with you!

This knit tee has shirt tails just like a button-up shirt. It makes me think of old-timey pajamas. The shape, the colors, the henley buttons, the longer short sleeves all come together for a totally unique tee. Did I mention the fabric is soft as a baby’s bottom?? I have been so utterly impressed the the fabrics emerging these days. ($36)

We’ve showed you the Loudmouth tee in black and white, and now we have the Perriwinkle to accompany it, too! Super soft fabric, relaxed “boyfriend” fit, and an in-seam-not-on-the-seam pocket. ($30)

Long sleeved dresses are going to run the show this fall and winter. And, happily, the options are really endless. Don’t feel like a long-sleeved dress has to be matronly or habit-like. When designed right, they can be flashier, hotter, and more attractive than the skimpiest dress you can find. This one has a wide boat neck to show off that amazing collar bone and 3/4 length sleeves so you can highlight some great new bracelets. The fabric can be seen below, black with some sparkle knit right into it. The hemline is short, but has just a couple more inches added to the back for a bit more security. This is the fabric for the the dress above, but we also have a pair of leggings in this super cute fabric. Add a little bit of jazz to those boring black leggings with this beautiful fabric. In my opinion, these are slightly closer to footless tights, having a slight sheer factor to them (the dress does not share this quality, happily). I can see these being used in so many ways to add some excitement to an outfit. ($39)

Last Spring we introduced you to a new line for us called Prairie Underground. In case anyone missed out, Prairie is a Seattle-based and -made clothing line. They have some amazing silhouettes. They are most famous for their beautiful “jeggings” (=jeans+leggings). We had 3 styles last season and have added another already for fall.

This is the Raven shirt. This shirt is so amazing I could go on for days. The front fabric is a plain weave cotton, but the sleeves and part of the back are knit (more on the back later). The front is pleated to create some flowing pieces and a relaxed look. The buttons down the middle manage to never bulge out on anyone, eliminating the “I look pregnant when I wear this” annoyance. The knit fabric allow for a much tighter fit on the sleeves, ensuring the feel remains slim despite the layers created by the pleats. Also, the sleeves are super long, my favorite kind.

We also received it in this beautiful olive-brown color.

As I said with the sleeves, the knit panels allow for a closer fit on the parts that matter. Because the front is full, this piece needed some fitted parts to balance everything out. A nice slim back and sleeves do just that. Wow, this line has it all figured out. ($153)

Another engineering feat! This stretch denim dress is so HOT! First, let’s look at the fabric panels that all come together to create such a hot silhouette! Add those to stretch fabric, and this is flattering for almost any body type.

THEN, you notice the amazing, over-sized double zipper. Pull the top down a bit, the bottom up, and you create sex appeal no one can deny. The hints of the panel that reads “Prairie Underground” allow you to support your brand without broadcasting it to the world.

The stitching detail are so impressive! I love knowing that this was all made right here in Seattle! Come check it out, you won’t be disappointed! ($248)

Here are those jeggings I referred to before. Nice, solid fabric with a beautiful washed black color. Add a tuxedo stripe down the side, and you have the best slimming, flattering leggings around. They are so comfy, you can sleep, hike, shop, dance, anything in them! ($113)

Our Nudie mainstay, the Slim Jim, is back in a dark raw organic denim.

Gorgeous slim profile, not too tight, not too loose.

Dark embroidery for fans of subtle branding. Beautiful!

Natural scrapings caused some fading and whiskering for a softer, worn-in feel.

This, again, is the Average Joe fit, this time in a 11.75 ounce organic raw denim.

This print is for 826 National, a nonprofit with 8 chapters across this great nation, all in support of children’s writing skills. They even have a Seattle branch!

My apologies for the small photo. I couldn’t seem to find a model! This print is for ForestEthics. They focus on endangered woodlands in Canada, California, and Chile. To date, they have saved over 65 million acres of forest lands. They also work to change business practices and laws to ensure the enviroment we have today will be around for ages.

This is from their Classics 2.0 Collection. These are not tied to a specific charity, but 10% of the sale will go to one of their nonprofit partners just the same. Oh, and did I mention all of these are made from organic cotton with attention to all the details to ensure the least impact possible is made on the environment? I didn’t? Well, there you go.

We have the scales print in both the boxer brief (shown) and the trunk (sized as above photos). Oceana is the largest nonprofit focused solely on the preservation of our oceans and waters. With the Gulf disaster, these guys can use all the help they can get. And you get some brand new undies out of it!

These are the Sadie Straight Leg fit. Check out the leg on your left, not the one on the metal stand, to see the fit. It extends straight down from the knee rather than tapering in or flaring out. It is a solid, dark indigo wash.

We also have the Sadie Boot Cut. Again, judge by the leg on your left rather than the one on the metal stand. This wash is even darker for a professional look.
